30 Million

There are 30 million people who have been trafficked in this world.

My little world has been officially rocked.

I am fully convinced that this world can be freed from human trafficking. We have the resources, the money, the voices and the time. So, what are we doing about it??

This summer I was able to hang out with and live with some of the most precious children on this planet. (No offense to those of you who have darling little ones, but mine were pretty much the best). Some were the children of prostitutes, most were starving, naked, shoeless and lost. All were created and loved by God.

I met a couple who are working with getting children off the streets in the Philippines. (I cried like a true nut when I was talking to them). I also met a man who is going back to his homeland of India to rescue children out of brothels. There were 100 people at this event, ready to tackle this issue head on.

So, I ask again, what are we doing about it??

Here are a list of organizations and people that you can join to raise awareness, raise money, raise your voice and make a difference.

We are obligated to be a voice for those that society overlooks.

'bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.' - isaiah 61:3
